Ah, yes - now we've got RF Tools dimensions cooking. See attached:
1. Scenic vista: A dimension full of spheres of empty GT ores.

2. A dimension made of nothing but Railcraft poor iron ore. The equipment in the back is all you need for a proper mining rig in this environment: an Advanced Miner hooked up to a cache and a RTG.

Spending most of my time dead for creeper reasons! :banghead:
More time spent recovering from being killed than actually doing anything so far. Its a bit repetitive for my tastes :meh:. Maybe this has changed too much for me I think. But we'll see...

Jerubaal, all mobs got buffed. Until you get IC2 stuff, you wanna play conservative and/or stay topside. Put torches behind glass so mobs don't get them. Build doors and walls every 50 feet underground. Build a sifting table and rely on sand ore. Use a titanium engine with a squeezer and a coagulator to make rubber. Sift titanium out of bauxite ore. Use Thermal Expansion's redstone furnace for easy smelting. Use red sand in the crucible for easy iron.

I've been busy. After opening hundreds of Chance Cubes in a TARDIS, I've got all of the Avaritia machines. Now I just need to scrape up millions of ingots of basic materials and I can craft World Breaker the legendary pickaxe or whatever.

Silly RFTools dimensions are the key to victory. If you can scoop up the ~900 ingots or crystals required to use the material absorber to craft the dimlet you need, you can plot to dimensions of infinite one material. You can't power that dimension, of course, but you can use the powered field generator to stay alive in an unpowered dimension and scoop up materials with a hand drill. This is bad for common things like iron, but it's great for rarer materials like lapis and emerald. See attached: photos of a dimension of unlimited emerald.

Oh, and here's a "look at all of my virtual things" picture.

I got no idea what most of that stuff is LOL. Creepers got into my house and blew up some of the freebies... Repaired most of the damage.
Lost the teleporter I was given unfortunately, oh and the satchel of tools?...
Found a coal seam and been hand mining that for all its worth so far. That and tunneling to the spawn location so I can get back without dying all the time if my bed gets blown up again (3 times so far)! I swear are spawning in light tunnels or something. I was pretty sure the tunnels I've dug are pretty secure but I still keep finding mobs in there.
Still no iron ore or any idea how to make it LOL.
But hey I built a walled garden and planted trees LOL. Got 3 trunks full of cobble stone...
What you supposed to do with all that cobble?
The never ending cobble conundrum.

For smaller amounts of iron you can try to search the surface of deserts or, even better, extreme mountains, they usally hold (small) Magnetite ores as well as tons of other goodies. For the creepers, other than building a proper home/fortress/cave you could try out F7 (i think it was F7), it will show Red X where mobs can spawn and Yellow X where mobs can spawn at night only.
If you dont know how to process Magnetite into Magnetite:
Burn some Coal in a Burning box for dark ashes, then throw them together with any kind of magnetite dust (Or other iron related stuff) into a cooked clay crucible(NEI can give you the relation of dust to ashes you need for magnetite and anything else) and wait till the Magnetite melts,
and reacts with the ashes and then you will have have iron, which might need some additional heating as iron needs about 200°K more heat
to smelt.
Also if you heat iron too much it will turn into wrought iron, which is slightly better for most tools but some mods dont recognize it as proper iron.
Also you might realize that the crucible(Unless you like to pre-calculate the outcome) will be far more dangerous than pretty much anything else,
after you had a few incidents like evaporating cobble (Only damage) or a smeltdown of the crucible itself.

Oh boy, what a year it has been.

New Car
New Job
Married
Moving into a house now
Never ending stuff going on

I'm not sure how in depth I'll be going into with this pack as planned but I do what to do something with it. PR will probably stay on Version 1 and just have the map reset. Moving a big truck this Sunday so been busy packing.

Good afternoon
So i am finaly back i want to know what i can do and test for you so i can bring you a feedback on it
to bring the game closer to the official version
Thanks

Welp! I finally made iron LOL... Little things :)

And then lost half my mining site after 1 creeper blew a hole in my house wall and 1 zombie followed it in and killed me. By the time I'd realised the mob had headed deep into the mine, destroyed all the lights and now there half a dozen spawned down there that are way op'ed for this one to deal. Thankfully managed to contain to the main dig site after like 50 or so insta deaths... and recovered my home after a similar number of insta deaths... and now starting a new dig site :/
Man, that was/is frustrating!

What do you want to see in IR7? Is 1.7.10 something we want to stick with and gregtech? I think gregtech is pretty good about industrial so that was the idea. But given how busy I have been, I'm unsure what is being played now if something else is close to its complexity.

gregtech is my favorite, other than that, i liked forestry, bees, bee genetics, even if there is a greg plant system, diverse options are good to experience together, pam's harvestcraft, different drinks made by vegetables that buf player, literally i like to have a real furnitures and kitchen in mc, some decoration blocks also will be very good, i want to build my preivously unfinished tech building of IR5-6, only possible with some decoration blocks, clayfish furnitures, there was a washing machine to wash armor, it was nice. And crates that are included in customnpc mod, iron drums and bedrockium drum that hold big amount of liquids but expensive to craft, openblocks, a magic wand that help to place many blocks at one click, i didn't try rftools but mystcraft was a good experience, if it can be expensive to craft and some recipes may be disabled, manageable easier, it can be included, but i remember it made massive lag, those are what i remember enjoying playing, if i remember more i will post them.
